A Special Sunday To Remember

Happy Monday all, I hope you all had a good weekend and spoilt your moms rotten!
I know I was.

Just wanted to share some of the lovely things my girls and nephews and niece spoilt me with.

An array of beautiful cards!
(Me in the mirror!)

My cards from my girls and a beautiful bunch of flowers from my eldest
It may seem like loads of cards but as family plays such a large part of our lives the girls always send there auntie and nans cards and gifts to say thank you for all they do over the year. So do my nephews and nieces hence the cards.

Card from my youngest.

Bless.

Card from my eldest.

We've always said since the girls were little "I love you this much and more!" with open arms so it was very fitting.

Lovely chocolates and earring's from my mother in law.

I did have a bottle of wine from my nephews but I drunk that!

And a beautiful hanging basket full of Busy Lizzie's (which I shall share with you once it flowers) from my sister in law and niece.

I still had my homemade gift in the shape of  a necklace and bracelet made by my girls.

Love the jewellery.
 But the biggest surprise of the day was a gift from my hubby.

This was what I saw;

A very pretty box with a fantastic surprise inside;

How beautiful are these!?

I love them.

He knows how to make me happy!

Of course I had to wear them all day.

It inspired a romantic outfit with girly curls.
I was waited on hand and foot with even some of my ironing been done by my eldest.
Between them they cooked lunch with a few disasters along the way and quite a lot of help but it tasted great in the end.

The best thing of all?

Laughing, lunching and creating memories the family I adore so much.

I hope you all had as great a day as I did.

  4. Sounds like you had a lovely day! The lovely thing about Mother's Day is that it turns into a real family affair - with Mum in the middle - and as you say, memories are created.
