New York Part 3, The 16th Birthday!!

On our third day in New York, Sunday 27th November 2011 we celebrated Ashleigh's sweet 16th.

First she had happy birthday sung to her from her dad via FaceTime then we headed off for a day to remember!

First stop, starbucks..

Second stop, back to Times square..

We had to visit Toys R Us for Ashleigh to relive her childhood..

The birthday girl even got a ride on the ferris wheel too!
(In her very own Care Bear car!)

Next to the Disney store, as no birthday is complete with out a little magic from Disney!

And the whole of the Disney store actually sang Happy Birthday to Ashleigh, putting it on the big screen;

And giving her a special birthday badge.

(We each have one from Disney now, Andy's from Hong Kong, mine from Florida and Ashleighs from New York!)

For lunch we had a special meal at the Four seasons hotel..

A special burger for Ash,

Yummy scallops for me!

What a special time for my little girl and me.

Even the Four Seasons gave her cake, not one but two!
Feeling rather bloated we continued our day.
First by collecting our show tickets from the New York tourist information which in its self is amazing!

On show are beautiful costumes from the broadway shows.
This wall of Hopes and Dreams was fascinating.
(you can add your own to be printed and added to the wall. Wishing Wall)

We even saw the New Years Eve ball!

We even got to touch it too!

Lastly we headed off for a little more retail therapy before our evening events.
