How strange it is to be the one left at home....
All alone too!
Andy has gone to be a judge in a SIFE competition and left me for the bright lights of London.
Canary Wharf no less.
Can't say I blame him to be fair!
Especially after seeing these pictures of his suite;

The funny thing is I have also had to be in London today for a meeting in Dartford.

(not a fact I was aware of until after he'd booked train tickets, typical eh! But never mind at least the company will pay for them.)
And would you believe a three hour drive took me five hours due to this crappy weather?!
So its fair to say I am shattered.

As for this evening?
Well Ashleigh is at her friends, so I am going to have a meal I prepared yesterday, knowing full well I wouldn't want to cook just for me. And I am going to watch all the programmes both Andy and Ashleigh hate.
I will even try to star fish the bed.
But I shall let you in to a secret if you promise not to tell?

I do love having the house to myself every now and then but not too often. I can't sleep on my own anymore though you'll probably manage tonight after all that driving.
ReplyDeleteI used to able to see Canary Wharf from my room when I was in uni. I loved East London before they spruced it up for the Olympics.
It's weird being home alone, I can't bear it if my hubby is away. Although I do watch stuff he usually hates too! x
