Pinch Punch First Of The Month

Well Hello December!

Yes its the very last month of the year and I for one intend to enjoy it even if I am not feeling 100%.

I LOOOOOOOOVE Christmas.

I turn into a crazy Christmas person.

The fact that I am unable to lift things is driving me mental as I can't get the tree down from the loft.  Thank the Lord I got a few bits and pieces down when I had my last meeting for work.  At least I can decorate a few areas if nothing else.

The wintery bedding is on the bed and even the bedroom has a mini tree in much to the annoyance of hubby. 

And of course being the first of the month means I have been able to open the first gift on my Marks and Spencers advent calendar.

It got used straight away by both Ashleigh and I.

What a great gift for this cold weather.

My Baby Is 21 Years Old!!

OMG Ashleigh is 21!

Where has the time gone...

It doesn't seem five minutes since she was running round in her telly tubby wellies and singing Barneys silly hat song. And here she is a beautiful young woman turning 21.

We celebrated with a lovely meal at Marco Piere Whites restaurant, which is obviously set up for Christmas. But Ash was very happy to rock a Christmas hat on her birthday.

We even had entertainment in the restaurant with a live band and an interesting altercation between a manager and a waiter who was obviously being sacked. Very entertaining indeed!

No birthday is complete without cake and Ashleighs only request was that is was chocolate and home made.  I have to admit it turned out rather well. Even if I had to cheat a little.

She was showered with gifts including a beautiful vintage Tiffany necklace picked out by her dad.  He has very good taste, after all he married me. lol 

So many memories of this lady growing up over the last 21 years which make burst with pride.

So looking forward to making many more.

Its Been A While...

Yes it has been a while indeed and so much has happened.

The most significant has to be my resent operation.

A full abdominal hysterectomy.

Not pleasant but much needed, leaving me off my feet for a good few weeks.

And sporting such trend setting surgical stockings too.

It could always be worse as my dear granny used to say.

Heres to a good few weeks of rest and recuperation.

The Good

A great week at work

Yes, I have had a fabulously short week at work.

The fact that it was bank holiday and that I work with some lovely people does help obviously.

Time with hubby

We had a really relaxing few days in ludlow and even had the inlays pop over for Sunday lunch.

I really do have a fabulous (be it crazy) hubby.

The Bad

That bloating feeling

I have been doing so well with my diet but my tummy has been bloated.

On the plus side looks like this is finally going to get sorted.

The Ugly

Not enough hours in the day

Too much I want to do..

Missing In Action....

Gosh June already and I have neglected my blog completely.

(Bad Trayci!)

Thankfully the reason for not posting much has been that I have been far too busy with good stuff, as you would have seen from my Instagram if you follow me.

Our home is currently filled with beautiful kittens causing mischief.

A daughter who is now living back home.

Hubby, the man who puts up with me by going deaf and daft bless him.

We had been out enjoying the fabulous bank holiday weather last weekend in Ludlow, staying in our home on wheels.

We had a fabulous few days and have already been planning our next get away.

So enjoy your weekend and with a bit of luck this amazing weather will continue.

Hump Day All Ready....

Wednesday already and anther week whizzes by.
And I have to admit I am already shattered!

Sunday was filled with family time and contouring practice.

Monday with admin, admin and more admin.
But on the plus side I do have a lovely office to work in.

Yesterday with toothache.
Enough said.
And also celebrating my father in laws birthday.

And today was a store visit in Derby.

As for the rest of the week I have regional meeting, which I am looking forward to.
It's always nice to catch up with the rest of the gang from the North.
