My Hump, My Hump, My Lovely Wednesday Hump...

Wednesday
Hump Day
Slow Day
Midweek work day

What ever you call it today is what it is.

For me it means a journey into Nottingham, which is very slowly becoming like a second home.

Meeting with store teams and visiting pubs.
Well checking out meeting rooms but visiting pubs sounds so much nicer.

I'm after somewhere nice and quirky to hold meetings, so should you have any suggestions please do let me know.

Yesterdays....Casual Days.....

The great thing about working from home on a Monday, aka aim days, is the fact that you can be casual.

Now I do know that some of my colleagues, who of course shall remain nameless, often don't even change out of pjs until late afternoon.
And as tempting as this might be its just not for me.

Unlike previous Mondays I did actually venture outside, even if it was only to the post office.

That counts as getting fresh air right?

What's Been A Happening????

Most of this year I have been what's known as a "bad blogger"
Well a non frequent blogger is probably a better term, as I like to think I'm not bad.

So I thought I though I ought to share a few things that have happened over the past few months.

Starting with Glastonbury.

A great experience.

We didn't take masses of photos, we just enjoyed.

Hubby with his captain pug wash face, lol
He was very happy really, honest.

Lived in the moment and embraced everything.

Just how I feel life should be.

Back to smiles.

Now can get hubby to go again next year?

Pick Yourself Up, Dust Yourself Down...

Let me just start by saying, my I've been busy...
Very busy..

If it's not been work, its been wedding plans (daughters not mine, don't think hubby would be impressed at all if I started planning my own. lol), family time or quiet time.

Oh and hospital time!
Yes, I just can't seem to make it through a year without a hospital stay!

After a week long stay, thats 5 days longer than I wanted to be in the hospital, I was allowed home to be pampered by hubby and family.

And the reason for this stay?
A build up of fluid which caused me to almost pass out in pain.

Yet again I have to say a huge thank you to both my fabulous doctor, who didn't mess about and got me straight in to hospital, and New Cross nursing staff who were excellent with me.
(Even when I presented them with what can only be described as a scene from a horror film!)

But now its back to normal, be it a little slower and calmer whilst the pain subsides.
