Visible Now.....

Now I love having a tan and yes I know they are increadibly bad for you.

The one thing I dislike about having a tan is I seem to suddenly loose my eyebrows.

Honestly, no joke look:

So today I have gone to get both them and my eyelashes tinted.

The result is this:

Simple yet affective.

I would love to be able to draw them on all neat but I would probably look like a three year old had drawn them on.

And Back To Reality......

Yes back to work it is...

Oh well, maybe one day I might win the lottery (would help if I brought a ticket though!) and  will never have to go back to work. Well you can but dream...

At least the first day back wasn't too bad as I was attending an editing for the Christmas conference dvd.

So chilled and relaxed was the outfit of the day.

Top - Brought from France at bargain price of £8
Jeans - Tesco £10

A little French too maybe?

And please notice........

Shoes - Debenhams £22

New Shoes!

Yes I have finally been allowed to purchase some new shoes for work.
So not only did I have these but another two pairs as well!

I must stress though I have thrown five pairs of work shoes out.
And thats after they were reheeled and soled, so they really did me well.
Lets hope these last as long.

As for my second day back, well not quite as formal for this one.

Back to the work wear and flat shoes due to a long walk to my meeting.

A Wonderful Long Weekend....

It has to be said that We have had a wonderful weekend.

One of the places we visited whilst away was Hardwick Hall.

If was a beautiful place to see with both the new and the old house to wonder through.

I have to admit though I wasn't a huge fan of the tapestries as I much prefer seeing a house laid out with all the furniture and paintings. But thats just me.

The gardens were lovely.

And the statues were great for playing with the settings on the camera.

We were very lucky as the weather stayed nice and we were able to enjoy a punic in the grounds.

My What A Big One!

Courgette that is!
(What are you like?!)

We have had masses of our courgettes completly over grow and are now more like marrows.

But as we are not a family to waste food these will be either given to others or in this ones case eatten by us.

Just pop it in the oven for approx 20mins, after scooping out the seeds, adding oil, salt and pepper.

Add in our case left over rice,

Top with left over chilli,

Then just a dap of cheese and cook for a further 15-20 mins,

And voila a yummy and very filling tea.

A Rumble In The Jungle....

We really could be forgiven for thinking that our lovely not so little allotment had become an over grown jungle whilst we had been away.

The weather has obviously been ideal for growing, the only problem being it's weeds that has seemed to do exceedingly well!

Never mind, it gives us a good oportunity to work off a few (or should that be a lot?!) of the excess pounds we gained from lovely french bread and cheese.

At least now after a lot of hard work it's looking a bit more like our patch once more.

Now to pick all rest of the goodies.

Back Home....

Yes we are back in the not so sunny UK.

After visiting brightly coloured markets.

Eating far to many yummy things.

 And exciting our senses.

And after a few weeks of R & R we are (not quite) raring to go.

As you can see we enjoyed ourselves amnesty

And truth be told we are ever so slightly sad to be back.

But holidays don't last for ever so back to the grind stone we go.
On the bright side it does give me chance to catch up with all your lovely blogs.
