It seems like forever since I did this type of post so here goes.
The Good
Family and friends
When all else seems to be falling down around your ears it tends to be the ones you love that pick you up, dust you down and remind you its not really half as bad as it seems.
And I love them loads for it.
Being thankful
For food in my belly, a roof over my head and clothes to keep me warm.
The basics are all here for me and for that I am thankful.
Wedding Bells
My niece has booked her wedding for this November, yes a rush I know but it was originally booked for this summer and was cancelled due to the death of her mother in law to be.
It will be so nice to see her tie the knot and I know it would be something her mother in law would have wanted for them both.
The Bad
Broken Car
Whilst its finally fixed and thankfully with out too huge a bill it worried us slightly to say the least.
Broken Oven
Would you believe my oven door shattered on the same day I had bad news?
Typical, eh!
Flooded Kitchen
We awoke to a soaked floor after the machine had flooded.
Thankfully it was the pipes that had blocked and hubby managed to unblock it, so no huge bill.
The Ugly
Death of a chicken
Poor thing died in its sleep.
New Job Time
Looks like its time for me to be job hunting.
Oh well a change is as good as a rest they say.
I keep smiling anyway, as it confuses the hell out of people!

The same thing happened to my oven right before Christmas, we managed to get it sorted out just in time for the big day. They say these things come in threes, I think you've definitely had your trio.
ReplyDeleteIts a pain isn't it?! Oh well I will know where I sit mid October but as for now its job hunting. As the saying goes.... Worst things happen at sea!
DeleteI just keep smiling.
