Gifts Galore....

Yes I know Christmas has well and truly passed but I never told you about the amazing gifts I had.

(Other than Maddies go course and they were fab!)

So heres what Santa (Aka Andy, Kassie and Ashleigh) spoilt me with;

If I don't end up with a cookery book I know something is afoot!
This year they gave me two.  Not good for the diet mind.

(Naughty) Hubby got me a kindle, which considering we weren't getting each other anything was very naughty indeed!
(that said I do love it)

Of course I had to have smellies!

A sparkly bangle and yummy chocolate.

My daughters know me well and each brought me a bottle of JLO.
( I use it for work as my day perfume)

Andy also spoilt me with a gift box of one of my favourite perfumes, Beautiful.

Again a book from each of the girls.

Kylie's showtime from hubby.

The obligatory calendar and diary from the girls.

Each of them also chose me a note book and pencils for me to use in my handbag.

What can I say, I was spoilt bless em.

And thats not even all of it!
(I wore my dress Christmas day)

I still have money to spend, along with a few vouchers to.

Hope Santa also brought you quite a few pretties.

For me the best gift of all was having them all at home and having fun.

Hopes And Dreams for 2012

Happy New Year To You!

And of course to your loved ones too.

Heres what I hoped for 2011;

"So what do you want from 2011? 
Well I've given it some serious thought. 
I want to do something kind every day, make more time for the people I care about rather than the people I think I should. 
I want to get my house in order and be glad for what I have, not covet what I don't. Try hard in my new role at work and enjoy life. 
Also to embrace new skills, whilst refocusing on the ones I've neglected. 
In general I just want to be happy!"

To be fair I could almost say exactly the same for this one to.

So for 2012 I hope for;

Good health for my family;

And all of my friends too.

I would like for Ashleigh to achieve exam results

 that she is happy with!

To get my body fit,

And to a shape I am happy with.

To try harder to make time for loved ones

And friends.

To continue to stay frugal,

And not hanker after material things.

And of course to keep blogging,

As I've made some fantastic friends along the way this year.

So what are your hopes and dreams for this new year?

(much nicer than making new year resolutions in my humble opinion!)

The Six Month Recap.

Another year has passed us by and my what a year it has been!

In June I recapped on the previous six months so it's only fair on the first day of a new year I recap on the last six months of 2011.

(More to remind me of the year it's been more that anything else)

So here goes;

July

Saw us rocking out at a killer Queen concert at shrugbourgh hall.

And segway racing like school kids.

August

Saw us chilling out in the beautiful Mexico.

Swam with whale sharks;

And experiences zip wires, caves and cliff jumps;

September

Saw me brake my wrist.

Never ever again thanks!

October

The removal of the cast.

We enjoyed halloween fun.

November

We celebrated Ashleighs 16th in style by visiting New York.

And threw an Alice in wonderland theme party too.

And the famous Frankenstein bolt was adorned!

December

Brought Christmas celebrations,

And parties galore.

Even an Elf made an appearance along with giggling girlies too!

Some great highs and a few lows too.

Overall a great 6 months and great year infact.

It has brought back fabulous memories and a huge smile to my face.

I am looking forward to creating more memories in 2012.

So heres to 2012 what ever it may bring.
