Our little family has just grown.
We now have two ducks.
Much to the displeasure of hubby, but I am sure he will grow to love them too.
I can't say the chickens were bothered either way to be honest.
That said the ducks are still very nervous and are adjusting to their new home.
They are rescue ducks and will of course take time to settle in, bless them.
Even my eldest has added to her family.

Thankfully I am not to be a nanny just yet!
They had had a beautiful little kitten.
She is so sweet.
It seems our family is forever growing.
Just the way I like it.
The more we are, the more we love.
That said, can we have the wedding before any grandchildren please?!

We are thinking about chickens and ducks. I had them growing up. So far it's just our Lab and a bunny, who is the sweetest pet ever. My hubby wasn't crazy about the bunny at first, but he loves him now too. Hopefully your hubby will like the ducks. Hope to see you Friday for our Anything Goes linky party.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mindie. Hubby is thankfully coming round to them, slowly.

We've had both chickens and ducks in the past. I much preferred the chickens, and wish we could have some now!
ReplyDeletePlease share your photos at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2014/08/variations-with-linky.html, and come back each week for Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday).
Thanks Sue I will be sure to join in.

Ducks in the garden
ReplyDeleteOh!
Be prepared for some mess..... They are terribly untidy buggers!
Believe me
I once hatched out 16 Indian runners in one go
Not a blade of grass anywhere
Thanks John, I will be sure to keep an eye on them. I know that they make a mess so I will keep everything crossed that they don't decimate the place.

Hope they've settled in now? What have you called them?
ReplyDelete'the more we are, the more we love' I like that :)
We need kitten pics!!
They seem to be, although I think it will take them a while to get fully used to us. Andy has named them, his way of getting like them more I think. Daisy and Donald, we are huge disney fans here. I did remind hime they were both girls but he's not budging on the names, lol.
ReplyDeleteI shall post some kitten pictures soon. They are on my phone so not the best.
