Thank you soooo much for all your kind comments on my last post.
As I said its now onwards and upwards and I have been having a smile on my face no matter what.
And this I hope might just make you guys smile too.

I got myself dresses this morning (not that anyone else very does it for me you understand) and choose a dress that makes me feel good.
On it went and I promptly pulled up the zip, rearranging my arm to do the last inch or so.
As I did I realised that the bottom part of it had pulled apart and no matter what I did to try and unzip, rezip, nothing helped and the zip stayed well and truly buggered!
The result was me stuck in a dress and having to cut myself out of it.
Oh the shame!

Mind you I did have to laugh, I must have looked such a sight.
With a bit of luck the zip can be changed and the dress repaired ready for when my flatter tummy days return.

There is no panic like the panic you get when stuck in a dress! You'll never get that with shoes, which is why I like them so much. And the shoes you have on here... hello!

They are fab aren't they, so comfy too. I do love my shoes, not quite as much as hubby but getting near. (Just don't tell him :) )

I bought a dress from a charity shop on my lunch break on Tuesday. It had been on a mennquin in the window, I'd checked the size and price and asked for it. The guy got it from the window, I bought it. He must have broken the zip whilst taking it off the dummy as it had been fine and zipped up when I looked at it. I didn't try it on when I got home, but chucked it in my gym bag to wear for work the next day, after my gym class -the one morning of the week when I leave the house in my gym clothes not my work clothes. So of course I get out of the shower in the changing room, go to put it on and realise the zip is broken and it won't zip up. Had to arrange my gym bag on my arm so nobody would notice as I slunk out to the car, and then stop at home on the way to work to get changed - so annoyed that they didn't mention it, though. Grr.

DeleteI had a zip break whilst taking a meeting once. I was mortified that a whole group of people almost got to see my pants.

I've just caught up with your last post, what an ordeal, I really feel for you. I think you should put a complaint in about the doctor you saw, how incompetent. Hope you get sorted out soon, and I hope you can get your dress mended.
