Working Attire.

I know that all of us bloggers are always very nosy as to what each of us wear on a day to day basis.

And I must admit that as most of my work outfits tend to be very much the same. (Oh how I hate you corporate business!) I don't take photos every day because of this.

However in true blogging spirt I shall share as much as possible this year.

Just forgive me that the majority will not be very inspiring!

Back in December my little blog had it's first birthday and whats a birthday with out a present or two?!

The Fresh Air Of A New Year.

Nothing beats a good stroll to dust away the cobwebs.

So heres just a few pictures from our walk.

The ducks were enjoying a little sun after all the wind and rain of late.

The canal looked very pretty steeped in sunshine.

Ahh... How sweet, hubby and I hand in hand.

The sky soon turned a littler dark.

Hubby in big blue, the coat that is.
I love the colour settings on my camera.

It made the berries stand out on the hedge.

We could be miles away from it all with this view.

But the sign posts soon told us how far.

The reflections in the water looked lovely.

It's strange to think that these canals have hardly changed over the years.

It was a beautiful and chilled walk which thankfully stayed dry too.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly!

Start as you mean to go on I say so here's my first of the year;

The Good

A New Year

With a New Years comes new hopes and dreams.

A blank canvas to fill as only I see fit

Facing up to my issues

Of which one is that I have to get fit and loose weight. Fact!

I'm not happy with my spare tyre and only I can do some thing about it

The Bad

Committing to loosing weight

I have zero motivation, so I know that this will be tough

Tackling the dreaded running machine

All for the same reasons as above

The Ugly

Knowing I only have a  few more weeks left in a job I love

I love what I do as well as the people I work with so yes I am sad

Knowing it will be a tough year in every sense of the word

New job role, many extra miles to travel,

money will be tight, not loads of holidays to look forward to,

 but we shall enjoy every thing we do to the max!

Grin And Bare It.

Yes the decorations are all down and packed away ready to be put away in the loft for another year.

Gone are the decorations.

Only minimal items are left in place.

It's sad to say that the house feels rather bear without them.

The book shelf is now just a little fuller.

With a huge gap where the tree once sat.

Plus it's meant I've had to clean through too.

At least the house is clean and tidy, even if the loft is now to become full again!

If your anything like me you enjoy being ever so slightly nosy at what everyone else got up to on New Years Eve, well heres what we did.

We enjoyed a great meal at the same time accompanied with lots of wine of course!

(Not too good for the diet this!)

And of course we all celebrated the new year in style toasting with a glass of champagne before heading into the street to watch the fireworks.
