Meet Spot......

Let me introduce you to Maisy;

Possible not quite what you were expecting!

On wednesday Andy collected his new bike.

It was the first day I had seen him all kitted up to ride off one it.
So much for a cheap month, his gear cost an arm and a leg.
(After all is designed to protect said arms and legs so worth every penny to be honest)

He has insisted on naming his bike and in the process come up with some real random names before deciding on Maisy.
(Why Maisy? Why not? was the answer I received.)

However the text I recieved that said;
"What shall I call my bike?"

Got a quick reply that said;
" Not Trayci!"

I know how his mind works, cheeky beggar!

  1. Bikes scare me. I don't think I could cope if my husband had one.

  3. Hope he has a back protector thing too. Bulky but essential. Won't let Biggles out without one. The SMIDSY's are the ones to watch out for. ''Sorry Mate I didnt See You'' Stoopid car drivers. Seen Biggles boot a car in the door panel from the bike with me on the back at the time. Other wise as long as you take account of weather and conditions, gravel and crap on the road its fantastic!

    Biggles has a silly machine - Honda VFR 1200 and it goes like shit off a stick! I love it.

    1. Thankfully this only a little putput as Ash puts it. As long as he's careful I can cope. I must admit to worrying about him though.

  5. I love tearing down the back lanes of Goa on a 1960s Enfield but the thought of all the nutters on the roads round here scares the life out of me. Stay safe, Andy! x

  6. Nice to see him being sensible with the proper kit! I can't bear it when I'm driving and see people on motorbikes in shorts and flip flops - makes me feel so nervous. Hope he has some fun road trips on it!
