And I have to say I am incredibly proud of our British athletes, they have done us proud.
The Olympics' has been on the television when ever we have been home and even on the phone whilst out and about, with the fantastic coverage we had no reason to miss a thing.
Well apart from a little thing called work of course!
I have to say, I am already wondering what I shall be watching now.
What was your take on the whole thing?
X x
Loved it all! I love sport anyway, but it's been great. I practically screamed the windows out with some of the races lol :)
ReplyDeleteI'm also so proud!!
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest, I didn't watch a lot of the sport, but I watched the most popular things, e.g, Mo, Tom Daley, the rowing.
I still feel so happy about it all! Loved the closing :)
Loved it as well! No major downs for me at all. I too am wondering what I shall watch.. paralympics on Ch4 also worth a look. One day maybe we will have a closing ceremony after the paralympics.....
ReplyDeleteI hope Rio is a rich as our games were. They will take some beating. We have such a diverse county that it will take some beating!
xx
I've been obsessed even watching on holiday whilst everyone else was sunbathing round the pool!
ReplyDeleteI love the olympics, that's pretty much the only time when I watch sports haha. Sometimes I watch the Superbowl or the NBA finals, but the Olympics is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI get obsessed with it every 4 years and I'm dying for the Paralympics to cheer on local girl, Ellie Simmonds!!
ReplyDeleteRio 2016 will be brilliant. I was in Brazil for a few weeks back in 2000 and man, do those Brazilians know how to throw a party! x
Most of the Olympics passed me by, I regret not getting more excited!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't that bothered beforehand but really got into it. I'm looking forward to the Paraolympics now.
ReplyDeleteI hope that we, as a country, don't sit back and view it as a great two weeks. I hope we can look back in 20 years and see that it was the start of a sporting renaissance.
