When my youngest informed us last night she was off out to support a distraught friend who had split with her boyfriend, we didn't bat an eyelid.
We just thought it was good that she rallied round in a time of need.
However when I was woken up at 4.30am by her dad saying she wasn't home the stress levels rose.
Phones were checked for messages or missed calls
But nothing.
Not like her at all.
Finally after 40 minutes of trying to get hold of her she texts to say she stayed at her friends.
Panic over.
Kids eh?!
Even as adults you can't help it worry about them can you?
Stern words were said on her return home this afternoon.

ReplyDeleteIt was just so unlike her which made it worse. Joys of kids.
