You may well have notice that I was MIA for a few days.
(What do you mean you never noticed? Cheeky!)
Well as hubby was working over in Hereford I was able to go with him and stay in our home on wheels for a few days.
It was lovely and peaceful, even if the weather was rather hit and miss.
Rain, rain go away! |
Hay on Wye was only a stones throw away and we spent a good few hours in both the book shops and antique markets.
Super cute little shop |
I even bartered to buy two fab items, but more on that another time.
Even I am totally fed up of it now, after all who wants constant stomach pains?
Not me thats for sure!
We had no phone or internet signal whilst we were away.
And whilst that might sound like hell to most people, it was actually nice to be cut off for a day or so.
And I finished one book and I'm now half way through another.
Nothing bets a cuppa in the sunshine with a good book and a little music. |
I'm off to catch up with all the blog posts I have missed.

I'm sorry you're still suffering. Hey on Wye is a gorgeous place. xxx
ReplyDeleteThat place looks gorgeous but I couldn't cope without my phone signal! Hope you feel better soon xx
ReplyDeleteAh, the quality of the peace and quiet. Glad that you got some good time away, even if it was a bit rainy x
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good time away, I am amazed that you have 1000 things to sell for your challenge, you are doing so well on it though. I guess that once you start sorting through things it is amazing what you find, so good on you for doing this. xx
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely
ReplyDeleteI'm always hearing that Hay on Wye is a lovely place to visit for castle and book shopping, but shamefully I've never been.
