Yesterday was a real start to the week!
I turned up to a normal day at work, a full day of meeting for an upcoming project and lots of jobs to add to my busy schedule.
Cardy - M&S Top - H&M Skirt - Oasis Shoes - New Look |
As I was ready to leave, I was pulled to one side and told I had changed department with immediate effect...
(Thankfully I was just moving department, I feel for people that must be told they have been laid off in such a way)
Now whilst I was aware something was in the pipe line I must admit I didn't expect it to happen quite the way it did.
My old boss never said a thing and looked quite sheepish when I spoke to her and my new line manager is, well lets just say a little challenging to handle.
So is a change as good as a rest?
Personally I'd rather have time off!

The grass isn't always greener on the other side and better the devil you know are quotes that spring to mind! Not a very nice way to be told, very unprofessional if you ask me but I am sure it will be fine once you have adjusted. Cute skirt BTW x
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound like a very nice way for them to do it. I always think people should try to imagine how they would like to receive news & to be treated. That saying " treat others how you wish to be treated " springs to mind. Hope it hasn't upset you too much x xx
ReplyDeleteThat's a shocking way to be treated, Trayci. Mind you, I can't imagine anyone wouldn't enjoy working with you, you are lovely! xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a horrible way to be treated :( xx
ReplyDeleteThat is terrible, a bit of consideration, might have been nice.

Fashion, Well Done
Like people have said - not the most professional way to do things.
ReplyDeleteHi my dear-wishing you the best in your new department, change does feel unsettling but hopefully given time you will be feeling fine xxx
