Second Verse, Same As The First....

Each days a little like ground hog day here at the home of Please May I.
So for fear of living on repeat I have had try and to mix it up.

The problem I have is I'm not really up to much, but never one to be defeated I have set myself a challenge.

Looking round out home we have so much stuff.
I mean not only stuff we love and use, but just stuff that sits there doing nothing.
Not being moved, used or making us smile.

So that has giving me an idea.
As I am off for a while I have set myself a challenge of selling 1000 items.
Yes it's a lot but by hook or crook, I am sure I can do this.
And I will have a running total as I go

After all if I sell each item for only a £1 then thats £1000 bank in our account.
Win Win I should say.

Anyone up fancy joining me?

As there is no time like the present I have already listed 31 items on eBay.
(Only 969 more to go!)
Tomorrow I shall list some more and work my way through the rest of the bags of clothing both my daughter and I have sorted.

If it's not something we need, love or use then its going on my sale list.
My daughters have offered to go and do a car boot or two to help clear some of the items that I don't think won't sell on eBay, bless them.
 Wish me luck.

    1. You tend to find that on free listing weekends as so many people put things on. Lets hope you have better luck next time.

  5. Good on you!! I'm like Sharron - I have to do it no more than 10 items at a time as I find it so exhausting! #lightweight xx

  7. I really think this is a great idea - I go through phases of loving and hating ebay, it always seems sooo much hassle and so many people lately seeem to be saying that things haven't arrived - not sure if this is the case and I should be blaming the post office or what :(

  8. Oh my goodness! Good luck to you! We've just moved house and I thought I cleared a lot of stuff before we put ours on the market, but now I realise it was just a drop in the ocean. I've tried selling stuff, but am finding it too time-consuming, so most of our stuff is now going to the Scout's jumble sale!

  9. Selling 1000 items?? That's impressive! We've been preparing to move, and have been giving away and throwing away a lot of stuff, we may sell a few larger items as the move date gets closer!
