Who Turned The Heating Down??!

Blimey I've been chilly!

Is it just me or does the temperature seemed to have dropped quite a lot?

And being fickle I really don't want to cover up with think tights just yet.

That said I am near to admitting defeat and reaching for the highest denier I can find.

Today I have opted for  little flower power and pulled out an old favourite.

(Plus it's purple and I like purple!)

Teamed with a trusty pair of boots and I'm feeling snug already!

Added bonus with this dress is the fact that it swirls.....

Admit it you love swirling to, your never to old I've decided.

I also really like the back detail of the dress;

My, doesn't my bum look big!

I added a little bit of bling too;

So do you have a trusty go to outfit that you often turn too?

  1. we were discussing the heating the other day, last year we got to Dec without turning it on! (we do have a log fire in lounge and dining room) not sure about this year, but the woodshed is stocked ready!! My trusty outfit would include jeans. They are just so easy.

  5. I love the print on your dress and the cool color combo of blues and violet. The back detail is decidedly good as well.

    Where I live it is still hot, and a bit muggy but with a dress like that, it would be easy to layer up when it cools down, or to wear with sandals on the hots days. I do like a dress that can go 3 seasons.

  6. Hello, I haven't looked in for a while.
    I like purple too and this dress is lovely and really suits you!
    Funny you should ask about old favourites, I have a purple v-neck dress I always get out and a black, purple and floral mini-dress that is a fail-safe, 'I'm not sure what the dress code is' outfit!
    How fab those earrings go with your outfit!

  9. Hi what a lovely holiday glow you have. I find it hard making the summer winter transition into trousers after comfy skirts & light dresses. Love the dress that colour really suits you x

  10. Ah, you have good taste - I have this dress too & it's definitely a fail-safe kinda number :)

    I always seem to wear it with black vest underneath (why's it not REALLY low-cut on you!?), black cardi, black leggings/tights & then flats of some sort - normally purple!
