It may be Easter Sunday but we won't be having too much rest!
So after a lovely church service off came the posh clothes and on went the mucky ones.
After all we desperately need to try and get the new allotment ready for planting soon.
Even though it is snowy and cold

And whilst we have made a lot of head way with constant digging we still have loads to do as it is full of weeds.
But the fruit cage posts are up and awaiting the net to be put in place.
The strawberries and fruit bushes have all been planted in the new cage too.
The back of the allotment will be the very last place to get ant attention!
And as if we don't have enough to do, we now have an extra quarter plot!
This is now also ours, right up to the fence and green houses.
The only positive thing is that it really doesn't need any hard work doing on it thank goodness!
And I was even able to plant a few rows of onions today.

Well after all that digging I am now off to have a warm shower, paint my nails and generally get back to being girly!
Oh and to cook an Easter feast for 14 people.
(I must be mad!)
