The good, the bad and the ugly!

What a week it has been!

But before I fill you in I shall share with you the shoes of the day.

 So what happened this week?
Well I thought I'd fill in the blanks for you.

Firstly

 The Good

* I had some fantastic training sessions with some fantastic people.

* Receiving a text to let me know my mom arrived safely after a flight on her own.

 * Seeing my eldest so excited about her first holiday with her lovely boyfriend.

* Finally seeing my youngest pick up after a terrible stomach bug.

Secondly

The Bad

 * A sick hubby, not good at all

* A sick daughter, even worse

* Saying good bye to my mom for a month whilst she visits my brother.

* Leaving my mom at Luton airport, when she has never flown on her own before.

And finally

The Ugly

* Money! Can't live without it and it causes more heart ache than anything

* Silent treatment, people can be cruel

* A death of a relative. Whilst distant, knowing how upset my mom will be about this is heart breaking.

 * Not being able to comfort my mom during her heart break.

All I have to say is,

"Good bye nasty week! I'm glad to see the back of you!"

  1. We all get those weeks from time to time. I'm very sorry though to hear everything you're dealing with and it is touching how much you care about your mom travelling alone and having to hear heartbreaking news. You're a good daughter. xx

  2. Oh no, sorry to hear you've had such a bad time of it. Have your hubby and daughter had the same thing that you had?
