Proud As Punch......

Like most parents I am extremely proud of both of my girls.

They are beautiful.

Both inside and out.

They are kind, helpful, generous, caring, very loving and also very clever and smart!

Ashleigh has been proving it quite a lot recently with fantastic exams results and glowing reports.

As for Kassie, well she also has been very busy in producing garments for a fashion show sponsored by Tesco.

Here are a few few shots of what she did;
(forgive the quality I only took them with my phone!)
These were made out of tshirts and had jersey roses all over them.

Would you believe the cape is a shower curtain?!
the collar and the back of it has some intricate detail woven on it.

Even the hair and make up had been thoughtfully done.

The Tesco carrier bag dress was stunning.
It made looking good in a carrier bag a great saying to use!

I loved the fact Kassie had to explain that the dress was made out of vinyl to my mom.
Bless her.

What a creation.

So like I said I am very proud of my two girlies..

And I love them very much!

  1. Those creations are absolutely brilliant. I made a cape out of a shower curtain a couple of years ago for festivals, it's always inspiring to see something beautiful made from something mundane. x
PS Would you consider removing word verification from your blog? It takes ages to leave a comment now Google have changed it.

    1. Thanks Vix. I remember your flamingo cape, it is fab!

I didn't even realise that the word verification was on. I hate them too. I'm off to try and remove it, lets hope I don't delete my blog!

  3. These dresses are amazing, it's funny i have just done a post bemoaning the state of the British high street. Why do the young ones shop there (especially as it is so expensive and uniform) if they can produce beautiful stuff like this for free?!
